Candy Crush Solitaire and Care Bears deal in love for a season of sweet kindness
The world’s most caring crew just entered the world’s most addictive card game, and the result is pure joy.
This November, Candy Crush Solitaire™ has teamed up with the Care Bears™ for a heartwarming in-game event that celebrates the sweetest power-up of all: kindness. The limited-time Care Bears Season transforms the beloved digital card game into a rainbow-powered world of nostalgia, positivity, and color.
Brought to life by King, Cloudco Entertainment, and Born Licensing, this collaboration unites two icons of happiness: the global gaming sensation and the timeless bear family that has been spreading love and kindness for nearly 45 years.
A match made in Care-a-Lot
Starting November 3, players can join Cheer Bear, Bedtime Bear, and the rest of the gang as they make their Candy Crush debut. Throughout the month, fans will experience a complete Care Bears makeover, from themed card decks and colorful new animations to a special in-game event called the Care-o-Meter, where acts of kindness unlock rewards.
The partnership radiates the same positivity both brands are known for. Candy Crush Solitaire has long celebrated connection and feel-good play, while the Care Bears have built a legacy around sharing and caring. Together, they create an irresistibly cheerful crossover that invites players to slow down, smile, and play with heart.
Bringing the bears to life: the approval process
Behind the scenes, Born Licensing worked closely with the teams at King and Cloudco Entertainment to make sure the Care Bears’ charm and authenticity translated seamlessly into the digital experience. From creative alignment and approvals to ensuring every detail reflected the brand’s joyful spirit, the collaboration was a celebration of what licensed IP does best — adding emotional depth, nostalgia, and instant recognition to a creative idea.
For Born Licensing, it’s another example of how character partnerships can transform digital spaces, creating emotional connections that go beyond the screen. The Care Bears’ message of kindness and inclusivity feels right at home inside Candy Crush Solitaire’s world — where every match, shuffle, and move is about spreading a little more joy.
The launch: caring, connecting and collecting
Throughout November, players who complete the Care Bears Album will unlock collectible cards to keep — a sweet digital keepsake to remember the season by. It’s an event designed to bring people together, reminding players that in Candy Crush Solitaire, just like in Care-a-Lot, caring really does pay off.
Whether it’s nostalgia, bear hugs, or boosters that draw you in, this collaboration is a perfect match of optimism and play. Two global icons, one message: kindness is the ultimate power-up.

In a digital world where fraudsters rely on urgency, panic and split-second decisions, sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause. Created in partnership with Sesame Workshop and developed by Bully Pulpit International (BPI), the campaign uses the beloved character to encourage consumers to take a simple nine-second pause before responding to suspicious online messages, emails or alerts.

Eleven years ago, Born Licensing began with nothing more than a laptop, a studio apartment in Melbourne, and a belief that advertising could be better when powered by characters people already loved. There was no investor pitch deck, no neatly laminated business plan – and there was a lot to learn! What was there, however, was a head full of ideas and a deep passion for the emotional shorthand that iconic IP can bring to a campaign.
